If you have moved to the Netherlands and want to keep watching Barça, the answer is simpler than the internet makes it look. One broadcaster holds essentially everything, and the only real decision is how much of it you want to pay for.
Who shows Barça in the Netherlands
Ziggo Sport. They hold the Dutch rights to LaLiga, and in 2025 they extended that deal through to the 2028/29 season. They also hold the exclusive Dutch rights to all three UEFA club competitions — the Champions League, the Europa League and the Conference League — and extended those through to 2030/31. The Copa del Rey is theirs too.
In practice that means one company decides whether you can watch your team, and there is no second bidder to switch to.

What it actually costs
Ziggo Sport on channel 14 is free if you are already a Ziggo customer, and it carries the biggest match of each LaLiga round — which is often, but not always, Barça. Ziggo themselves put it plainly: you see clubs like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético live on channel 14, and if you want to see *many more* LaLiga matches you take Ziggo Sport Totaal.
Ziggo Sport Totaal is a paid add-on of six sports channels, advertised from around €16.95 a month through Ziggo, with other providers pricing it similarly — roughly €16.99 at Youfone and €17.99 at KPN. The catch that catches most newcomers: it is sold as an add-on to a digital TV subscription. There is no standalone streaming tier you can buy on its own the way you would buy a Netflix account.
Kick-off times: the good news
Spain and the Netherlands are in the same time zone. A match that kicks off at 21:00 in Barcelona kicks off at 21:00 in Amsterdam — no conversion, no waking up at odd hours, no arriving an hour late because you did the maths on a Spanish website. This is the single most common thing new arrivals get wrong, and the answer is that there is nothing to get wrong.
The one thing to watch is LaLiga's habit of confirming kick-off times only a couple of weeks out. Until the league sets a time, a fixture genuinely has no time — anyone showing you one is guessing.
The free option
Penya Blaugrana Amsterdam is the official FC Barcelona supporters club in the city, recognised by the club's board in October 2024 — the 74th penya in Europe outside Spain. We watch matches together at PARCK aka Ping Pong Bar, the match is on the main screen, and the sound is on.
